How to Use This Tool
This tool converts legacy QIF files into QBO format. It runs directly in your browser — your financial data is never uploaded anywhere.
QIF is Quicken’s older plain-text format; QBO is what QuickBooks imports today. Dates, amounts, payees, memos, and check numbers carry over, with transaction IDs generated for clean importing.
- Provide your QIF file — Paste the file content or drop your .qif file onto the File tab.
- Enter account details — QIF files don’t include them, so add your account number and institution info.
- Download the QBO file — Then import it into QuickBooks (Banking → Upload transactions).
