How to Use This Tool

This tool converts all the values in a single column of your CSV to lowercase. Select the column you want to transform and the output updates instantly. Headers are preserved as-is.

  1. Provide your CSV — Paste CSV text into the input area, drop a CSV file onto the File tab, or enter a URL on the URL tab.
  2. Select a column — Choose the column you want to lowercase from the dropdown.
  3. Get your output — Copy the result to your clipboard or save it as a .csv file.

Does this tool upload my data?
No. It runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript. Your CSV data is never sent to a server.
Does it change the column header too?
No. Only the data values are converted to lowercase. The header stays exactly as it was.
What happens with numbers or special characters?
Numbers and special characters are unaffected by lowercasing — only letters are converted.
